Nexhibitor Joins MISO Annual Gala Event

The Miami Symphony Orchestra (MISO), under the direction of Conductor Eduardo Marturet, celebrated their Annual Gala at the Ice Palace, and Nexhibitor was there.

The 2010 MISO Annual Gala Event was a who’s who of Miami cultural life, with guests including Carolina Herrera and Plácido Domingo, Jr. The hosts, journalist and international personality Ana Remos and Peabody and Emmy-award winner and NBC/Telemundo anchor José Díaz Baralt started the evening off with a bang. Nexhibitor-installed video screens showed presenter Mike Paxton introducing the various orchestral works, as well as segments of a number of films as the notes of their musical scores filled the Ice Palace. Nexhibitor lighting and sound systems completed the show.

The program included works by Prokofiev, Beethoven, Dvorak, Elgar, Tchaikovsky, Bizet, Falla, Hyman/Green, Howard, Rota, Morricone and Williams.
Musical guests in the eclectic program included young singer and trumpet sensation Linda Briceño, a rising young star of the music world, the official DJ of the 2006 NBA World Champions Miami HEAT, DJ Irie, who enlivened the after-concert party in the lounge area, and Nexus Integrated Marketing President and CEO, Fernando Duprat, in his debut as triangulist.
The Miami Symphony Orchestra featured masterful performaces by Associate Principal Oboist Nicholas Thompson and Concert Master Daniel Andai.

The Nexhibitor crew was hard at work long before the music started, designing the dazzling video and light show and ensuring that the Ice Palace space and the sound system did justice to Maestro Marturet’s work with the Miami Symphony Orchestra. Their work paid off handsomely, as the evening was clearly a great success.
